By downloading, installing, or using the Rute Taxi mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

🚖 Rute Passenger App – Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Rute Passenger app and agree to provide accurate personal details.

2. Booking a Ride

  • You agree to provide accurate pickup and drop locations.

  • Ride fares are estimated and may vary based on traffic or route changes.

  • Cancellation fees may apply based on timing and driver confirmation.

3. Payments

  • Payments can be made via cash, wallet, UPI, or other integrated methods.

  • You agree to pay the full amount displayed at the end of your ride.

4. Conduct

  • You agree to maintain respectful behavior with drivers.

  • Abusive language, damage to the vehicle, or illegal activity will lead to account suspension.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

  • Repeated cancellations may lead to temporary account block.

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed based on the situation and payment mode.

6. Liability

  • Rute acts as a platform connecting drivers and passengers.

  • We are not responsible for the conduct of any driver, nor for delays or accidents.

7. Privacy

Your data is handled as per our Privacy Policy. Location access is essential for matching you with nearby drivers.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account in case of violations or suspicious activity.

🚗 Rute Driver App – Terms & Conditions

1. Registration

  • You must be a licensed driver with all required permits and insurance.

  • You agree to provide accurate documents during registration.

2. Ride Acceptance

  • Accepting a ride indicates your agreement to complete it as per passenger request.

  • Cancelling rides repeatedly may affect your driver rating or earnings.

3. Earnings & Payouts

  • Rute provides a commission-based earnings system.

  • Payouts will be processed weekly or as agreed in the app.

4. Conduct & Safety

  • You must ensure the vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and safe.

  • Harassment, discrimination, or unsafe driving will result in permanent suspension.

5. Use of App

  • Location and internet access are required to use the Rute Driver app.

  • Sharing accounts or misuse of the platform is prohibited.

6. Liability

  • Rute is a platform and not your employer. You are responsible for your actions on the road.

  • Rute is not liable for any disputes between you and the passenger.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently deactivate your driver account for violations, fraud, or poor conduct.

  • Modifications: We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated terms.

  • Dispute Resolution: Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of India.
